Fire safety inspections are completed by the Carrboro Fire-Rescue Department on all commercial occupancies within the Town of Carrboro. These inspections are completed annually, biennially, or triennially in accordance with applicable state laws. Occupancies which are considered high-hazard or where there is increased potential for injury or loss of life are inspected annually, lower risk occupancies are inspected every two years, and those with limited hazards are inspected every three years.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding inspections, please contact the Carrboro Fire Marshal at (919) 918-7352 or contact us via email - fire@townofcarrboro.org.
